Five Greek Heroes

Perseus was the son of Zeus and Danae. He slew the Medusa and later founded Mycenae.


Hercules was the son of Zeus and Alcmena. He performed the Twelve Labors on the orders of the Pythian priestess and achieved immortality.


Theseus was the son of Aegeus and Aethra. He was taken to Crete as a youth where he slew the Minotaur.


Jason was the son of Aeson and Tyro. He led the Argonauts in the campaign to Colchis in the Black Sea.


Achilles was the son of Peleus and the goddess Thetis. He fought in the Trojan War, leading the Myrmidons of Phthia.
